Once again we are having our annual outing into the River Festival. It is a free festival of music, dance, food and all things boating and well worth visit.

We will be at the Craft Market by the Boat Club so look forward to seeing you there over the weekend of July 2nd and 3rd 2016

You may be wondering why I have a photo of a gorgeous chap at our stall – he is the Stratford-upon-Avon Rugby player we sponsor who helps out at the River Festival every year

Distilling demonstration at Hanbury Hall Sunday July 12th 1.30pm 2015

As part of the weekend Flower Feast I did a demonstration of how to distill fresh flowers or herbs on Sunday 12th July 2015 at Hanbury Hall. It was a delightful day and I met many interesting people and chatted to so many knowledgeable gardeners that I felt as though I came away with more information than I came with!

It is being run on an annual basis so do go and visit this year if you have the chance.

The address is School Road, Droitwich Spa, Droitwich, Worcestershire WR9 7EA

Working with Shakespeare’s England

On Sunday 1st march I will be giving a short demonstration and tutorial on Natural Perfumes in the Elizabethan era for guests of Shakespeare’s England and Visit England.

I will be delivering my session at Hall’s Croft, home of Dr John Hall who was an eminent physician and herbalist, as well as William Shakespeare’s son-in-law.

I will discuss flowers and herbs that an apothocary would use, like the beautiful Rosa Mundi in the photo.

So excited! I’ll let you know how I got on….

In the mean time look at their website it is full of ideas of what to do on your visit here.

I used the healing body butter with the healing soap when I was going through treatment for breast cancer; it kept my skin soft and stopped any infection. I would recommend for other women who are going through this medical procedure. Thank you. M.S Stratford
